I just hope the scientists are right. The worlds geology and weather the last few years has been really hinky in my uneducated opinion. If they are wrong, and it is not a small eruption, then I kind of worry about our other data models regarding seismic activity. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is carrying a story about this, titled Scientists predict small or moderate eruption at Mount St. Helens.

However, it has been more recently reported that activity has increased, according to this press release by The Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network. (The PNSN link is courtesy of the Slashdot thread, Mount St. Helens Alert Status Increased.)
