The Chicago Tribune has picked a candidate for the 2004 Presidential election. Their choice is not surprising, when looking at the history of their endorsements they have rarely broke with a particular party line.
There is a lot of uproar in Chicago about the choice, and I must say I disagree with the Trib on this one. However, I respect that they made a decision. Its no secret the Trib is a conservative paper, and I respect that they aren’t trying to deny it, as some other papers try to categorically deny supporting one party or the other.
The Trib has an editorial in response Here.
