For Christmas I had asked my fiance for a set of custom pickups for my electric guitar.

Low and behold, these wonderful things came in on Friday. For this upgrade I chose the Bill Lawrence custom wound pickups, the L-280S, a set of three for a Fender Stratocaster.

I did the install myself, after buying a soldering iron from Sears. I’m quite happy with the end result and have a recording of the pickups played with different settings on the guitar, and on my amp.
