I’ve had my obvious problems with comment spam, and found a good workaround with my Captcha, but I was left with the problem of trackback spam. So this Google initiative I arrived at through this Slashdot article, was welcome to my ears.
But the problem is that I still don’t want the nasty shit on my site. If someone is going to put porn up here, its gonna be me damnit. Anyway, I’m working on a hack to Wordpress(my personal blogging software of choice) so that all trackbacks are forced to be approved before they show up. Unfortunately, I’m having minor issues with the technology, and as such, its not behaving nicely. Trackbacks are available on my newer posts at the moment, but until I get the bug fixed, the older ones will remain dormant ![]()
