When I started to write this I thought, there are not many instances where the articles on ESPN.com are going to bring a tear to my eye. But then I started thinking about how many sports moments have been so intensely emotional that you have trouble doing the manblink (my definition btw).
Today, my gut was wrenched around a little bit by a story about Notre Dame’s head coach Charlie Weis and a 10-year-old boy with a brain tumor. Its really quite a sad story, but one worth reading. It shows some class that you might not expect from a hot-shot coach, but class that you do expect from a university like Notre Dame.
